Where Ideas Take Shape

For Pamton 3D founder Pamela Szmara, it all began with a Stratasys and a need.

For many years, Pamela had worked as an orthodontic laboratory technician fabricating orthodontic appliances for the dental industry. As 3D printing gained popularity in dentistry, Pamela knew she needed to give this new technology a try. She purchased a Stratasys printer and immediately fell in love with the process. From there, Pamton 3D began to take shape.

Although Pamton primarily focused on orthodontics in the beginning, we've expanded our products and services throughout the years. Our company now offers 3D printing services, prototyping, scale models, short production runs and more, with a focus shifted toward the automotive, aeronautical and industrial markets.

The future holds continued growth and evolution for Pamton 3D as we continue to find new and innovative ways to serve clients throughout the United States.

Pamela Szmara

Pamela graduated from Columbus State Community College with an emphasis on dental lab orthodontics in 1991, and received her certification as a dental technician in 1997. After many meetings with clients, Pamela realized that there was a major need for higher quality customer service in the industry. She answered this need by opening her own lab, Live Wires Orthodontics, in 2000, with the idea of providing a more personalized experience for her clients. This lab became a certified dental lab in 2014.

As 3D printing gained popularity in dentistry, Pamela began to incorporate 3D imaging with a Maestro Scanner and later purchased a Stratasys printer. This move led to the formation of Pamton 3D in 2013.

Pamton3D focuses on prototype runs and additive manufacturing, and has grown significantly with three Stratasys printers and one GigaBot printer. In addition, Pamela has integrated Simply3D software to further support her customers.
